Mission

Dralla Group LLC was founded in 2001. It engages in all aspects of Strategic Alliance Lifecycle Management, as explained in our concepts and services pages.

Dralla Group strives to be the premier provider of practical, customized solutions for the Strategic Alliance Management function within a variety of organizatons in the US and in Europe. We support companies interested in establishing Strategic Alliances to achieve:

Professional experience

In 1999 Mr. Allard combined his IT experience with his interest in building bridges between companies. For the next 2 years, he helped pioneer the concept of Strategic Alliance Management as a Principal at Business Marketing Group Inc. in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Allard was instrumental in the expansion of the firm's expertise in strategic partner deal making into a full lifecycle Alliance Management methodology. As a Principal, Mr. Allard was responsible for developing and marketing these services as well as managing the consultants that executed them.

This methodology forms the basis of his entrepreneurial efforts today. It comprises strategy, process, infrastructure automation and hands on best practices components, resulting in a comprehensive practical approach to growing a business through strategic partnerships.

Mr. Allard was born and raised in the Netherlands. He got his career start in the United States in 1989 as a consultant with PriceWaterhouse. Assigned to several large-scale re-engineering projects, he quickly developed a grasp for the issues involved with managing large scale IT programs in support of business objectives.

By way of IT positions at several medium sized companies, he landed at the NASD in Washington D.C. in 1994. Until his departure in 1999, he performed in a variety of assignments, ranging from managing departmental computing needs, to architecting new web-based systems and technology infrastructures. His involvement in a cross-departmental team at the Nasdaq Stock Market to establish strategic relationships with Securities Exchanges in Europe (London, Frankfurt) led him to seek an assignment with greater involvement in this area in 1999.


Volunteer experience

Mr. Allard volunteers for the local school system in his district. He is a mentor to elementary and middle school students. He is vice president elect for the Heidelberg Officer and Civilian Spouses Club, a support organization with over $ 200,000 in annual charity funds. From 2000 to 2001 Mr. Allard was elected to the board of directors for the Seattle-based Dutch American Chamber of Commerce (DACC). As President, he spearheaded stronger coordination and cooperation between various organizations in Washington State, as well as those in Europe, to promote trade and business opportunities for companies with a variety of interests.


Education

Mr. Allard has a broad cultural and educational background, which serves him extremely well when dealing with international clientele in a variety of industries. He achieved his BA in Education (English and Dutch) in 1983 in the Netherlands, and his MA in Computer Systems Management and Commercial Bank Management from Frankfurt City College (Germany) in 1989. Mr. Allard interned at the Frankfurt branch of "AMRO Handelsbank", now ABNAmro, gaining valuable exposure to all operational aspects of a commercial bank. Mr. Allard graduated in 1992 with a MBA degree specializing in International Management from the University of St Thomas in St. Paul, MN.

Mr. Allard is fluent in English, German and Dutch.
